Leads/Co-Leads for Children, Teen, & Adult Groups

A group facilitator is a person who can meet our grieving children, teens, and adults where they are and provide support to them as they work through their grief.

Facilitators listen, encourage, and engage children and teens in their peer support groups. Compassion, understanding, and a willingness to support others are necessities in this role. We provide the training; you provide the love.

Before becoming a group facilitator, volunteers must participate in a comprehensive facilitator training session offered twice a year.

We are looking for volunteers to be a part of our in-person and virtual support groups. If you are interested, please apply.

A one-year commitment is encouraged for at least two evenings a month from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

Lee County interested volunteers, please contact Bobbie Santiago at (239) 898-2934 or at Bobbie.Santiago@ValeriesHouse.org
